Tournament Format and Rules

Pairs of 2 Golfers: The core of our tournament is pairs of two golfers, fostering team spirit and strategic collaboration.
Assigned Pairs: The pairings will be thoughtfully assigned, creating an element of surprise and camaraderie among participants.
Capped at 8 participants: In 2024, we limit the total number of participants to just 8 degenerates, ensuring an exclusive and intimate gathering.
DC RULES GOVERN ALL PLAY : The rules and spirit of the tournament are guided by the Degenerate Rules Handbook, which sets the stage for a fair, exciting, and competitive event.
Winning and Hoisting the Cup: The team pair that accumulates the highest number of points at the end of the three rounds will be crowned the champions and will have the distinct honor of hoisting the prestigious Degenerates Cup.

DC RULES GOVERN ALL PLAY

Ready golf on all tees
Each player needs to utilize (3) drives per player per nine holes (lack of use results in a loss of (1) point per drive not utilized)
(1) Mulligan per player per 9 holes - use it or lose it!

Points System:

(1) point to win hole
(1) point for a Par
(2) points for a Birdie
(3) points for an Eagle
(10) points for an Ace
(1) point for closest to pin on all par 3's (ball must be on the green)
Any team down by (10) points at any time, gets 2x points until they get to (5) points down (then it reverts back to established rules)
